Artist Profile: Arunabha Mazumder
Arunabha Mazumder is a dedicated visual artist who has participated in numerous group exhibitions across Kolkata and Dibrugarh, earning recognition for his thoughtful compositions and mastery in watercolor. He began his artistic journey at the prestigious “Art Wing” school in Dibrugarh, where he studied under the able guidance of Sri Sanat Baruah. His foundational training there instilled in him a disciplined approach to the visual arts.
Later, he continued to refine his skills and develop his unique style under the mentorship of Kanti Chowdhury at Nabagram, Konnagar, Hooghly. This phase of his training marked a deep exploration into the subtleties of form, color, and composition, shaping the mature aesthetic seen in his recent works.
Currently, Arunabha Mazumder continues his creative pursuits from his home studio in Nabagram, Konnagar, Hooghly, where he remains immersed in the practice of art with a quiet, persistent devotion.
